這個單位面積不大，住有一家四口及一位外傭，所以需要大量儲物空間。設計師施展魔法，將有限空間變成無限，為戶主設計大量儲物空間，更增設一間工人房，但仍然空間感十足。戶主希望有個特色安樂窩，設計師以黑灰銀為主調再配以木色，為型格的家居添上和暖感。
Squeezing a family of five into an811square foot apartment is hard,but Kelvin Cheung of Diamond Design ensured his clients feel comfortable and content in their petite apartment.
甫進單位，已可窺探單位的設計格調，玄關兩邊鋪貼深色牆紙，一邊設有層架擺放畫作。玄關與廳區中間築有一個地台，地台下設有滲光效果，一邊是黑鏡面牆身，另一邊是深色C字及頂儲物櫃，中間留空讓戶主擺放精品及日常用品，地台鋪設深淺不一的木紋地板，打破了玄關的冰冷感覺。
特色時尚
客廳延續玄關的黑灰銀作主調，地板鋪上淺灰色地磚，配上同色系牆紙。電視櫃上方亦呈C字，與玄關的儲物櫃互相呼應，櫃面裝上黑色鏡，可反射梳化背牆的光效，櫃的下方則鋪上灰色石紋膠板，感覺高雅且易於打理。客廳最獨特之處是兩條長短不一的LED燈帶，從天花伸延至梳化背牆，燈帶點綴了牆身，簡單俐落。飯廳設有弧形假天花及滲光效果，並裝上圓形圖案吊燈及圓形小天花燈，與客廳的長條形燈線互相對比。戶主更可配合不同需要，選擇不同模式的燈效。飯廳的主題牆鋪貼了一幅淺色幻彩牆紙，成了全個廳區的焦點。設計師在廳區巧妙地運用線條比例及深淺色的配對，令本來不太大的單位，看來寬敞舒適。廚房貫徹冷色系，淺灰色地磚配深灰地櫃及木色吊櫃，另一邊是黑色雲石紋牆身，高貴雅致。浴室鋪上一幅白色磚牆成了聚焦點，另一邊牆身則用上灰銀面，呼應全屋設計。
繽紛世界
通往寢區的走廊位有一個轉角位，設計師特別在該處做了一個斜角展示櫃，既方便戶主一家繞過彎位，又可讓戶主擺放心愛的裝飾物，一舉兩得。主人房延續廳區的設計，選用了金屬紋地磚，地台則選用木紋地板，同樣以深淺色木條配搭，地台底裝有燈槽，並有滲光效果。走入房間後，右邊就是一個小型衣帽間，衣櫃上方沒有櫃門，方便戶主擺放經常穿著的衣服，下方則是抽屜，另一邊是一列及頂衣櫃，近床尾位置改為及腰櫃，以減低壓迫感。兒童睡房造了滲光地台，地台上鋪上兩張床褥，是戶主兩個孩子的睡房。牆身鋪貼顏色奪目的牆紙，再配上綴有動物圖案的窗簾，令兩個孩子樂於逗留。書房以簡約為主，以淺色系佈置，長形書檯中間以抽屜分隔兩個孩子的工作區，後方設有一列儲物櫃，近窗位置則放有一個長矮櫃，可作為孩子的休閒區。
Measuring in at just811square feet,this petite apartment more than makes up for in style what it lacks in size.The brainchild of renowned designer,Kelvin Cheung of Diamond Design(Hong Kong)Limited,the property features a low-key,understated vibe that optimises the available space without compromising on comfort.The design team even managed to squeeze in a room for the foreign domestic helper,who takes care of the family of four.
In order to achieve the illusion of space,Cheung settled on a largely neutral palette that avoids being plain thanks to the luxurious selection of materials and finishes that have been featured.This is evidenced from the second you walk in to the apartment,which features a dramatic dark entrance that discretely houses extra storage space.
The rectangular living and dining room has been clearly defined into two separate areas,with a cosy dark grey leather sofa to one side and a theatrical marble and glass TV console and display cabinet to the other.Creating a sense of the spectacular,unique recessed strip lights extend from the marble wall up to the ceiling with great effect.
Meanwhile,the dining area has been defined thanks to a curvaceous false ceiling,which beautifully echoes the generous fork of the contemporary circular lighting unit up above.A simple rectangular wooden table flanked by four brown leather chairs completes the scene.
